How many junjou romantica volumes are there

All of this is flipped when Fuyuhiko's cousin, Mizuki, comes to visit them. It's evident that he and Akihiko get along and Misaki even notes that it's the first time that he's ever seen Akihiko smile at anyone besides him. He gets very jealous and, having never really experienced it to this degree in the past, allows it to build up until he explodes in the most hilarious way possible.

His face when he realizes what he says to Akihiko is the funniest thing I've seen since starting this series. In the Terrorist act 9 Shinobu worries that Miyagi is getting bored with both his cooking and him. It doesn't help that his sister expresses an interest in getting back with him. These last couple volumes have been really good and it saddens me to no end that there is only one more volume before the English publications run out.

In Japan the series continues up to, I believe, 24 volumes. It'd be nice if there were English versions available for purchase online same goes for Super Lovers. Jan 12, Shaya rated it really liked it. Mar 06, Lyn Jensen rated it it was ok. Slogging through "Junjo Romantica" for the second time, one of many manga I read--but I'm not sure why, other I'm with manga like a movie geek is with movies. There are people who love watching movies, even the bad ones, and I love reading manga--even the series I don't much care for.

I just can't get emotionally involved in this one. Aug 07, Stephanie rated it it was amazing. I do not regret this Yaoi downfall I have fallen into tbh.

May 20, Apple rated it really liked it Shelves: manga , bl. Sep 08, Adriana rated it liked it Shelves: sequential-art-manga. Seriously, Misaki is in love with Usagi. He's gay. Oct 11, Apoorva Nair rated it really liked it. I kinda pity Misaki for all the times that he's ended up in the jaws of the Usami family, but, it is what it is.

Jun 19, Sophie rated it liked it Shelves: manga , manga-bl , ifs. This is funny and fluffy and sweet - it hasn't that much "nutritional value", but it's perfect to read in this gray stormy weather. I'm still surprised how much I've grown to like Misaki and Usagi, but their trials and tribulations are a lot of fun to read about. A cute romantic comedy. I love the "Minimum" stories, too, their absolutely adorable. Still not too keen about the "Terrorist" pairing. Jul 21, Aurora Serenity Sildatke rated it liked it Shelves: manga , yaoi , romance , I didn't enjoy this one quite as much as the others.

The plot just seemed to be rehashed from the earlier issues, with almost identical conflict in each chapter. I would have thought at this point, since much time has passed, there would be vastly different complications rather than the same ones we were dealing with from the very first chapter. I think I've mentioned before that Junjou Romantica is my guilty pleasure. And reading the latest volume I am once again reminded of that fact It's the longest-running BL series here in Germany feel free to correct me if I'm wrong, but I can't think of any other , and character development happens on a glacial level.

I mostly buy this because I feel like I should finish what I started somehow And compared to Misaki, Hiroki actually does grow emotion I think I've mentioned before that Junjou Romantica is my guilty pleasure.

And compared to Misaki, Hiroki actually does grow emotionally and as a character, somewhat then again, compared to Misaki, the broccoli in my fridge has undergone more character development in his life than Misaki The thing is, I've read G Defend, which has 42 volumes so far and while there are some repetitions in those 42 volumes it's not as bad as JR, where every chapter follows the same pattern.

In exchange, JR has more sex, but that's hardly a fair exchange. Anyway, I'm not even particularly disappointed, JR delivers what it promises. It's my personal BL train wreck, in a way. Shelves: online. I only gave my thoughts on volume one, and I still love the anime. But this manga wasn't very good in the beginning and it has only gone downhill since. The authors art has not gotten any better since the beginning.

Most of it seems like it was rushed been there done that but if you are putting your work out there for publishing, if people are paying for your work. Put some effort into it. As for the story, after a while I only followed it for the second couple there are three that the story I only gave my thoughts on volume one, and I still love the anime.

As for the story, after a while I only followed it for the second couple there are three that the story revolves around. The second couple was the only one that I really enjoyed reading, but they are hardly mentioned in the series anymore.

It's all about the first couple. Which is a rape and Stockholm syndrome couple. I was even able to get past that in the beginning because it did develop after that some. And the anime made it less rape-y.

But they are the only ones the series focuses on anymore. And the story is repeating itself. The characters are not developing at all. Usagi is still the same jealous character that he was in the beginning, trying to limit Misaki's social contact. I will still continue to read the series, and watch the 3rd season of the anime, which was far better. But I am getting progressively more disappointed and bored with this series.

Misaki was later told while he was visiting Ijuuin at his home with his friend Todou. Ijuuin confessed right after Todou left the two of them alone. Misaki already suspected that Ijuuin had feelings for him but was still genuinely shocked when Ijuuin outright said that he loved Misaki The first volume was released on June 2, The manga series is currently running in Emerald magazine, published three times a year.

The series is currently not licensed for English-language release. Twelve English volumes were released. An attempt to gauge relative sales of manga titles by online vendors based on publicly available "bestseller" listings suggests that Junjo Romantica was the best-selling yaoi manga series of among online vendors. However, the Production Studio Deen has not announced anything official or even has given out information that tells us about the fourth season happening or not.

However, if we analyze how this anime series has worked its way out, the time gap between the second and third seasons was seven long years.

This fact is a little convincing and puts our hope back in season 4's future existence. Another factor that tells us that there are chances for the fourth season to happen sometime is the fact that the manga series on which it is based on is still running.

This means that to conceive a brand new season, the creators would need material and sources, which look like, is available for good.
